Office Location and Expected Hours of Work
This position is currently a remote "work from home" position, with future plans of being based from our office location in fall 2020. This is a part-time position, average 20 hours per week, project based with weekly due dates to keep things on track.

The Design Specialist works with the Liberty Jane Clothing designers to modify existing designs for specific doll types. The “deliverable” is the finished pattern pieces and prototype garments.

Work alongside our designers and complete projects on a firm schedule.
Collaborate with the Liberty Jane team to adapt the existing patterns to fit the size and proportions of the specific doll.
Create prototype garments in support of the modified pattern pieces submitted.
Sewing and pattern drafting skills required. Slopers and dolls provided for each size.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
A design background is required.
Detail and process-oriented with an ability to project manage and plan effectively.
A creative thinker and enthusiastic team player.
Communicate clearly and calmly under pressure.
A sense of urgency, dedication to consistency, and a willingness to learn and take direction from industry professionals.
Travel is uncommon, but may occur very occasionally.
